COEP Project Innovation Contest (PIC-2017) is a National Level Project Competition cum Exhibition which provides opportunity to final year B.E/B.Tech students of Computer/ IT departments to showcase their technical skills, innovative ideas and competency to solve real life problems. The theme of PIC-2017 centers around “Initiate, Innovate and Implement for Smarter India", while focusing on exploring different trends of computing in the areas of Information technology.

All TE Computer and TE IT students are hereby informed that, as the project idea presentation is going on we came to know that all are revolving around web portal and android apps.Department has decided to avoid web portals and android app type of projects as you have already developed website in third year.Your project must include Data Processing such as Data analysis or Synthesis or Algorithms.You have to strictly select any one domain from following and maintain diversity:

1) Big Data and Hadoop
2) Cloud computing
3) Internet of Things (IOT)
4) Data mining and or Data warehousing 
5) Networking and /or  Security
6) Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality
7) Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

How to select Idea:
Select Domain-Search research papers-Read papers-formulate problem statement (Topic Name)

At the time of approval you should come with:
1) Base or reference paper
2) Tentative plan of implementation
3) Functionalities or modules of project
4) Technology to be used (Language, IDEs ,SDKs,APIs  etc)

BE Computer Lectures on 7 April 2017

All students of BE Computer are hereby informed that , Lectures will be conducted as per schedule for the students who are not eligible for campus interview on  7 April 2017.Also BE student should prepare report in Latex and get checked from Project guide till 8 April 2017.Your Final Presentation will be on 15 April 2017 with Demo and Complete Project Report in Latex.

Timeline:

1) Lectures as per schedule on 7 April 2017.Attendance will be monitored.

2) Latex Report checking from Guide till 8 April 2017.
